I see a lot of people in the Amazon Flex groups who are new and nervous to get started. That’s completely normal of course. I too had some nerves about it. One advantage that I had was that I worked in the warehouse previously so I kind-of sorta knew what to expect. But for those of you who are brand spankin’ new. Let me tell you, there’s no reason to be nervous.
First everyone at the facilities are super nice and helpful. Amazon is a laid back atmosphere and that attracts really cool down to earth people who stick around. Sure you might encounter one or two disgruntled employees now and then. But as an independent contractor for Amazon, you are your own boss and you wont have to deal with them for long.
Second your fellow Amazon Flexer’s will help you out when you arrive at the facility and not sure quite what to do. There’s also a large selection of Amazon Flex Facebook groups that you can join to ask questions. You can also ask here!

Lastly, Amazon has set up the Flex program to be super easy to use. Typically it’s as simple as arriving at the warehouse, scanning your packages, putting them in your vehicle, and off you go. That’s really all there is to it. You’ll learn how to get better over time and develop a method that works for you.
Seriously don’t be nervous, there’s no reason for it. If your highly introverted you can literally get by without talking to anyone. If your extroverted you’ll love it too. The Amazon Flex community is truly one of a kind.
Amazon Flex is a great gig. All you need to get started is your phone, a reliable vehicle, and not required but recommended, a good attitude. Welcome to Amazon Flex! Forget about those nerves and start making them dollars!
