Seasoned drivers already know. Sometimes we get sent out to the boondocks where normal navigation apps like Waze and Google won’t work. The Amazon in-app navigation is hopeless. What do you do when the navigation goes dark and you’ve still got a car full of packages?
Well hopefully you’ve installed an offline navigate app. If you haven’t, then do so now. Don’t wait until you need it because you ain’t download nothing without a signal. These apps are life savers. An absolute must have for Flex Drivers. Don’t ask me how they work. I don’t know. Probably through witchcraft and sorcery. Here’s a list of a few good ones:
1) Offline Maps & Navigation:
I know… what a name right? Straight to the point. Does exactly what you image it would do. Download maps and get to traveling. The voice is a nice lady with an accent who says things like “Turn right, then go straight on”. I love it. Probably has other voices too but the default rules.
2) HERE WeGo – Offline Maps & GPS:
Good offline app solution with turn-by-turn navigation. Has the option to use a “stoner guy” voice which is pretty funny.
3) GPS Navigation & Maps Sygic:
Claims to be the world’s most installed offline GPS. Nice app with 3D offline maps.
There’s a million other choices. These 3 are great, popular, and well reviewed options. Stay safe, Flex on!
