Amazon sending out emails to Flex drivers gathering opinions about official Amazon branded gear. It’s about time. Let’s look at some stats and briefly touch on why we think branded gear is important and beneficial.
Unofficial branded gear sales:
Amazon Flex magnets (unofficial) sold on eBay top two search results have over one thousand sold! This surely speaks in the favor of official Amazon branded gear. Based on those numbers Flex drivers have voted with their wallets and said “Yes! Amazon, we are interested in branded gear”).
Particularly vehicle magnets. I have them and I see them on cars all the time at the warehouse. Flex drivers like it when customers can identify what the heck that car is up to in the driveway. Car magnets are a literal big’ol sign saying “Yo, I’m a delivery person”).
You’d be surprised how quickly strange looks turn to smiles the moment customers realize you’re the “mail-man”. Vehicle signs announce this. And that’s why we recommend them in our shop. Car magnets and branded gear help identify intent. Much like how we instinctively know what the UPS, FedEx, USPS people are up to by the uniform and vehicles. Flex drivers need something like this.
Amazon we’re so happy you are gathering opinions on the interest of branded gear! We think it’s important and promotes an extra level of professionalism for drivers. Hat’s and shirts would be great.
