Block Alert
Concept:
Get alerted via the Block Alert app when routes become available or are seen within the Amazon Flex app. Drivers can use the app to alert other drivers when they see a block. Much like how people are doing on Amazon Flex Facebook groups already. The app will be a localized place to inform drivers of available routes.
Users can add the type of block, start time, length, and the time the block was seen. Working together with this service we will be able to keep a record of when blocks are dropped within Amazon Flex. With this data we will be able to notice patterns of typical times blocks become available.
Block Alert would be dependent on users submitting alerts when they see available routes within the app. Users will only be able to submit alerts for their local area. Since we can’t see blocks outside of our area. However with this service we would be able to have an idea of that information as well.
Summary:
With the simple click of a button alert drivers when you see available blocks within Amazon Flex. Also have the ability to see alerts from other drivers within the app. Work together and collaborate to help other drivers.
