Amazon Flex Terminated Tuesday – Issue #2

TERMINATED TUESDAY!

Tune in each week for a new Terminated Tuesday.

Weekly Summary:

This week on terminated Tuesday we want to talk about the weekly summary and tips to keep it one hunnid. Weekly summaries are important and it’s always a good feeling to get 100% across the board. Lets break it down.

Reliability:

Show up on time for every block. Don’t miss blocks, don’t cancel them last minute. Reliability should be 100% every week. No excuses.

Amazon.com Deliveries:

The three metrics for logistics delivers or .com are “succeeded in delivering”, “attempted to deliver”, and “on time”.  These are self explanatory. The “succeeded” metric will often not be 100% because there’s many situations where a package cannot be delivered. The “attempted” metric should always be 100. We are expected to attempt all deliveries. Sometimes it’s unreasonable, like an hours drive from the rest of the deliveries. This is obviously a miss-sort and it’s OK to not attempt. “On Time” should always be 100%. Logistics drivers have all day (until 9pm) to complete deliveries.

Recent Delivered Not Received Count:

Every driver gets these from time to time. Customer cant find the package (hidden too well), or porch pirates stole it (arrr), and other factors. Tips on how to avoid these here. You never want this metric to be greater than 3. If it is you’re in trouble territory. 5 or more out of the last 500 deliveries and it’s Asta la vista.

Prime Now / Fresh:

For Prime Now and Fresh “On Time” and “Completion” are much more critical for drivers. Consistent late or failed deliveries and you’re going to get the Jeff Bezos ban hammer of doom.

Remember the weekly summary is meant to show drivers how well their doing based on certain metrics. Don’t take it personal. If numbers are off, this is the area to focus and approve upon. Always strive to improve and keep it one hunnid.

The ideal weekly summary will look like this:
