The Ultimate Flex Bot – Amazon stands no chance against Human Ingenuity

Two pieces of metal and a fan. That’s all it takes to create the ultimate Flex bot. This idea comes from a driver in an Amazon Flex Facebook group. With the power of human ingenuity. Amazon developers stand no chance.

The fan blowing two pieces of metal mimics the rapid tapping of two fingers. Thanks to the capacitive nature of touchscreens this works like a charm. Anything that holds an electric charge can activate a touchscreen.

You may be familiar with the Tinder meat swipe machine.

This concept works in a similar manner. Rotating a piece of meat to swipe on Tinder profiles. How can app developers anticipate this behavior and keep people from using their app in undesirable ways?

They Cant. Human ingenuity prevails.

It’s our nature to find solutions to problems. Especially with tedious task like tapping on the Amazon Flex app. With technology at our disposal, it’s easier than ever to tackle these problems. Just take a look at this device:

Creative people coming up with creative solutions. It’s beautiful really.

Amazon’s Answer:

Swipe to accept offers. The Ultimate Flex bot, defeated with one simple change to the app. How will Flex cheaters ever recover?

While swipe to accept may temporarily disable some of the more primitive Flex cheating methods, I have no doubt that new creative inventions will appear.

Not Worth It.

Is it worth it to cheat the Amazon Flex app? We don’t think so. Using hacks like the ones mentioned above are against the Amazon Flex terms of service. We love the creativity, but we don’t condone or recommend using these methods. It simply isn’t worth it. Eventually the users of these methods get deactivated.

With that said, we can’t wait to see what they come up with next. And what Amazon’s answer to it will be. Like Tom chasing Jerry. The rat race will never end. Grab the popcorn and enjoy the show.
