Drivers are abuzz over social media this week discussing the exciting new potential update to Amazon Flex that will bring block filters to the app. Screenshots from both Android and iOS users show a new filter option at the top of the Offers screen.
When tapped it’s assumed, based on driver submitted screenshots, that it will take the user to a screen like this:
Here drivers will be able to select the stations that they’re interested in and set up their available time.
Pure speculation:
We haven’t been able to test this feature ourselves nor can we confirm that it’s even real. Based on the many screenshots submitted by drivers across social media we’re convinced that it is. This has been a long awaited update ever since Flex merged Prime Now with logistics. Most drivers have block preferences and would like to filter out undesirable blocks.
Good job Amazon Flex Devs!
This isn’t something that you usually hear given all the issues with the Amazon Flex app but for this feature we’d like to say good job to the developers who work on the Flex (rabbit) app. You’ve done a good thing by adding block filters and listening to driver feedback, we appreciate it.
Now we wait
Most drivers don’t have this feature yet on their app. Don’t panic, like most new features added to Flex they seem to be slowly rolling this one out. Hopefully it’ll be available for everyone soon and we can start filtering out blocks that don’t interest us.
Be safe, flex on! Appreciate it.
