If you’re a driver for Amazon Flex you better make sure that your mask game is on point. They’ve recently updated the policy and some drivers have received warning emails for not following them to the T.
No Longer Acceptable
Bandanas, handkerchiefs, and gaiter-type mask are a no-no when delivering for Amazon Flex.
Acceptable
- Two layers of material minimum
- No valves
- No dangling straps or cords that could get caught in stuff
- Fully cover mouth, nose, extend under chin, fit against face, no gaps
Haters Going to Hate
We all know that if a customer wants to be a real stickler they could find the slightest gap in your mask and report it to Amazon and they would take the customers side. There’s really not much we can do about that. Even with a body cam that evidence would mean nothing.
So double up on those masks and hope for the best.
Appreciate it. Be safe and Flex on!
In case you missed it, here’s the email Amazon sent about the mask update on December 3rd:
