Shopkick
With Shopkick you can earn rewards (called Kicks) by scanning products on the shelves or by purchasing items and then submitting the receipt to the app. If you’re planning to do some shopping Shopkick can come in handy and help save money.
For example, in my app Walmart has Kicks available and I regularly shop there. If I where to buy a specific sausage listed in the app I could then submit my receipt and earn 800 kicks. Once I get 1,250 Kicks I can cash out for $5. That’s easy savings and if I wanted to get my hustle on I could also scan products on the shelves. While I’m buying sausage I could scan a beef product that’s listed in the app and get 10 kicks. After doing that a few times my Kicks will have added up for some easy money.
I recommend that drivers give Shopkick a try because its an easy side hustle for a little extra pocket change. Or use it casually as you shop, submit your receipts to the app and let those Kicks add up for a rainy day.

Fetch Rewards
Fetch is another app where you upload your shopping receipts. I know that there’re a ton of these but in my experience Fetch is one of the most easy to use and it has some good special offers on products that I regularly buy. For example, if I were to buy case of Coors light within 6 days and upload the receipt, I would earn 2,500 points. Once I get about 12,500 points I can cash out for a $10 gift card. That’s super simple savings. In comparison with Shopkick, Fetch has a lot more offers from brands that people are likely to buy.
I recommend that drivers give it a try because it’s really a no brainer way to save. It’s simple to use and you can take advantage of the special offers for products that you’re likely to be buying anyway. When you stop for a drink and snack before a block simply snap a pick of the receipt with the Fetch app and rack up those points.

Upside
Upside is an app to get cashback on gas and other shopping. Similarly to Amazon Flex, the Upside app will put out offers that you can claim.
With the above offer I can spend $4.72 per gallon and get 22 cents/gal cash back. That’s a good deal in my area and it’s only .8 miles away. I fill up my tank, upload a picture of the receipt using the Upside app, and that’s all there is to it. It’s an easy way to save on gas. Next time you’re filling up be sure to check the app and see if there’s any offers nearby.
For Flex drivers who often find themselves all over the city and in different towns this is a great app to have. We can take advantage of gas station offers in the Upside app while out on a block. We can save at stations that we wouldn’t normally stop at because it isn’t near home. Since Amazon has us going all over the place we can really benefit from the offers.
I recommend that Flex drivers give it a try because I’ve spoken about it on this site before and many drivers are already saving. For us, an app like this really makes sense. We don’t need to drive out of the way to save. We’re often already in close proximity to many competing gas stations when out on a block.
