It’s 2026 and AI is growing faster than any other tech industry in history.
The top dogs like OpenAI, Google, Anthropic and even Amazon are scraping up all of the data that they can get their paws on to feed to their AI models for training.

These companies are in a furious competition and they’re running out of organic real human data to feed their models.
Next up on the menu? The photos on your camera roll, the feed from your dash cam, drones, and more. That is.. if you’re willing to sell it.
In this post we’re digging into Kled AI — a new startup that will buy the pictures on your phone to sell to AI companies. Is it worth it for a little pocket change?
Let’s get into it.
What is Keld AI?
Kled AI is a data marketplace app that pays you to upload photos from your camera roll. AI companies need real-world images to train their models – Kled connects your content to those buyers and takes a cut in the middle.
Here’s the deal:
- Upload photos from your camera roll → get paid
- Complete “Special Tasks” (specific types of photos they need) → get paid more
- Refer people → earn 10% of what they make
- Video uploads coming soon but not live yet
Payouts through PayPal, Venmo, or Solana. $25 minimum cashout. You must link your phone number. Payouts are manual and take up to 7 days.
The company (Nitrility Inc.) claims a $100M valuation, 3 million files uploaded daily, and has 4.6 stars on the App Store. It’s been blowing up across r/beermoney and side hustle communities. Multiple Reddit users confirm real payouts.

Is It Worth It?
Let’s not sugarcoat it. Here’s what people are actually earning:
- ~$7 for 1,000 photos
- ~$35 for 5,000 images
- “Special Tasks” pay more but aren’t always available
That’s roughly $0.007 per photo. Less than a penny. If you’ve got 10,000 photos collecting dust and dump them all at once, that’s maybe $70 for 20 minutes of work. Not terrible – but you can only sell your camera roll once.
⚠️ Now the yellow flags:
- Brand new company. Launched late 2025. Zero track record.
- Crypto token. A Solana-based $KLED token has been flagged for sketchy contract permissions. Stay away from it.
- Kled Life. Lets you link Gmail, Netflix, Spotify and 100+ apps to passively sell your behavioral data. Uploading photos is one thing – linking your Gmail to a data marketplace is a whole different level of trust.
- iOS only. No Android app. No real timeline.
- Referral spam. Reddit is flooded with referral codes. The 10% bonus incentivizes this heavily – take those glowing reviews with a grain of salt.
- Only original photos. No screenshots, no downloads, no AI-generated images – they’ll reject or ban you.
Side Hustle Opportunity for Flex Drivers
Here’s the thing most people aren’t thinking about: you’re already out there.
Every Flex shift you’re driving through neighborhoods for hours. Stopping at houses. Passing storefronts. Navigating parking lots. Your phone is right there.
So why not snap a few extra photos while you’re at it?
Between stops, take some shots:
- The street, the neighborhood, interesting buildings
- Your delivery setup, the station, the parking lot
- Weather, lighting, different times of day
Stuff you’d normally just drive past. It takes seconds and those photos add up over a full shift.
Is it going to make you rich? No. But if you’re already out for 4-5 hours and snap a few hundred extra photos along the way, that’s a couple bucks you wouldn’t have had otherwise. Zero extra effort on top of what you’re already doing.
AI companies don’t just want selfies and food pics. They want real environments, different lighting, different weather, different neighborhoods. As a Flex driver you’re generating exactly that kind of variety every single day.
Most people would have to go out of their way to capture this kind of variety. You’re getting paid to be there anyway—the photos are just a bonus.

Conclusion
We’re not endorsing Kled – it’s too new and there are enough yellow flags to keep us cautious. But the concept of getting paid for your data is real, the demand from AI companies is real, and this category of side hustle is only getting bigger.
If you want to try it, dump your camera roll and treat it as beer money. Stay away from the crypto token and think twice before linking personal accounts. And if you’re an Android user – you’re stuck waiting for now.
The real takeaway isn’t about any one app. It’s that your data has value and that value is going up. Start treating it that way.
Archive everything that you can. Get a dashcam if you don’t already have one and save the footage, all of it. It may be worth some decent money soon.
