Amazon Flex WTF Wednesday – Amazon Lockers?

WTF Wednesday – What are Amazon Lockers?

Tune in every week for a new issue of WTF Wednesday.

WTF is this:

This is an Amazon locker. Don’t be intimidated. Flexer’s love Amazon’s lockers. Amazon lockers are a convenient and secure place for customers to have their packages delivered. The lockers can usually be found on the inside or outside of popular places like Whole Foods and Plaid Pantry.

Due to their convenience and ease of use, Amazon Flex drivers rejoice when they have locker deliveries!

Ok… I’ve got locker deliveries. How’s it done?

First you’re going to click “I’ve arrived” on your phone as usual.

Then a QR code will show up on your phone.

Go to the locker and under the screen is a scanner. Align the phone screen with the scanner. Magic will happen and BOOM you’re signed in. The locker knows who you are (spooky) and how many deliveries you have.

Scan each package and a locker door will *boop* magically open. Stick the package you just scanned in there. Close the locker door.

Continue this with all the locker deliveries. When done a QR code will show up on the locker’s screen. Scan it and you’re ready to roll.

Sweet right? Hope that clears it up a bit.

TLDR;

Amazon lockers are simple and convenient for both delivery drivers and customers.
