WTF is Prime Day?
Amazon is so big they get to make up holidays during random times of the year. On this day Amazon Prime members receive discounts on products like phones, tablets, e-readers, smart speakers, TV’s, etc. You know.. all the things that Amazon sells. If you’ve had your eye on the Amazon Echo, Prime Day is a great time to get it.
Hows this affect Flex drivers?
There’s going to be increased demand for drivers on and around Prime Day. The warehouses will see an increased volume, and somebody needs to deliver those packages. Lucky you. With such high demand, increased rates are very likely. Prepare to take advantage of that $25 an hour surge.
