Mandatory Lockers:
There’s no excuse. All apartments should have lockers for their residents. Not only do they keep packages safe from thieves and weather, it saves delivery people a ton of time. It’s time that Amazon pushes it’s weight around a bit on this issue. If Amazon made lockers mandatory at all apartments, I guarantee they’d all be installing them.
No Excuses:
But.. but we can’t afford a locker. Oh! Your apartment complex can’t afford a locker for it’s residents? Well then too bad for you. You don’t get Amazon packages delivered to your door. Want to know why? If your complex can’t afford a locker it’s probably located in a bad neighborhood where package theft is much more likely.
Use a Store Locker:
Your apartment doesn’t have a locker? Use a Plaid Pantry, Whole Foods, etc.. Amazon Locker that’s nearby. Remember missing packages count against the delivery driver. Help us out and use available Amazon lockers.
No Locker. No Package:
This is the motto I wish Amazon would adopt. Look we get it, you’re customer obsessed. Making lockers mandatory ensures safe delivery to those beloved customers. If they live in an apartment and haven’t got a locker, no door delivery! It hurts drivers, it hurts customers, and it attracts thieves. No more excuses! No locker? No package. There’s other options available.
